Our family highly recommends Sunset Ridge for your loved one based on our experience

with owners, James & Maria from 2007-2010. We brought our mom, Carleen to Sunset Ridge after a stay in a local assisted living facility (6mos). Then to a nursing home (1mo).

Our mom had Alzheimer's Disease & required 24 hr care during the last year of her life.

James & Maria have provided the very best love & care during Carleen's 3 yr stay at Sunset Ridge. They treated her like she was part of the family. Sunset Ridge is a home where the residents recieve more personal care on a one on one basis than at an intitutionalized assisted living facility or nursing home. Other residents there also treated our Mom well & her roommate became a very close friend.We couldn't have hope for a better situation. We never had to worry about Mom while she lived there. This was not the case at either the other assisted living facility or the nursing home she was in.

During the last year, we were concerned of Mom's funds would not allow her to continue living at Sunset Ridge although it was already affordable. We had brought our concern to James & Maria and they worked with us to make sure our mother would not have to move. This was a substantial sacrifice on their part. You see, Carleen had become a part of their family. We'll never forget what they did for Mom. It's obvious they really treat their residents as family members rather than renters. I assure you, you wouldn't find this at another assisted living facility, a nursing home, or the average group home. In closing, we are forever grateful for the love & care James & Maria provided our mother. They recognized Carleen was a very speacial person & treated her as a part of their family. We wanted the very best for our Mom during her last years. James & Maria made that happen They would certainly do the same for your loved one
